Hello dear visitor, and Welcome to the Speaker Box Tutorial.

In this tutorial we're going to practice a various techniques, using the most simple yet the most effective way achieving a realistic Speaker Box in the period of time.

So let's not spend a minute more and let's get down to business.

First of all, create a new 650x750px document and color the background in #484848.

Set the foreground/background colors to default or simply press the D button on your keyboard.

Now, take the Pen Tool of the Tools Palette and create an oblong rectangle such as this one.

(NOTE: Hold the Shift button while you're using your Pen Tool to create a straight rectangle).

If you're done with that, create a new layer and using the same tool, create another one. Snap the new one to the left side of the existing one.

Now, turn on the rulers in case if you have them off. Grab 2 structural lines from the horizontal ruler and place them exactly the way they're placed in here.

Now, while you're having your left rectangle layer selected, go to Edit > Transform > Distort (or simply press CTRL+T, right click on the mouse and chose Distort).

If you have your element prepared for distorted transformation, simply dislocate the top-left archor point as I've done it in here.

(NOTE: Hold the Shift button while you're dragging your archor point in the vertical position for not getting it out of the horizontal one).

If you're done with that corner, move to the bottom-left archor point and using the same technique, dislocate it as well.

So far, you'll need to have something like this.
